70 SQM BRERA

Milan, IT, 2017

The project radically changes both the plan and the look of the apartment.

A former  small 3-people flat turns into a spacious apartment for one or two people, by removing the corridor and taking advantage of all the available space.

The custom bookshelf in the living room is a significant element of the project: through its openings it is possible to reach both the kitchen and  the entrance  and to look into the bedroom where the reading nuke creates an intimate and unconventional place to seat.
The accurate use of colors, contrasting with continuous oak floor and off-white walls, puts an accent on specific architectural elements such as nooks, passages and windows.
